ABOUT US

Welcome to Sword of the Spirit Ministries (SSM). It is our desire and prayer that you will 'find rest for your soul' (Jeremiah 6:16) as you absorb the contents of this site. It has been designed to minister and to refresh your soul.

The mission of this Ministry is to unite and strengthen the Body of Christ by communicating the Word of God through the Internet. The idea of starting an Internet ministry came to us when we were asking God to help us define our role in ministry. SSM was God's answer for us in our quest to fulfill the Lord's Commission in Matthew 28:19: Go ye therefore, and teach all nations … '.

We believe the Internet is one of the most ideal channels for taking the Good News to the outermost parts of the world. Many Churches in Europe and America are using the immense advantages of the Internet to preach the Gospel of Christ. In Africa, the Internet is yet to reach the same level of sophistication. However, the infrastructure, even though poor and often unreliable, is there to enable the continent take advantage of the limitless possibilities of the World Wide Web.

SSM is using the Internet to reach the un-reached and preach the Good News of salvation to all the nations. SSM is pulling down denominational boundaries and uniting churches and ministries under the Word of God, which is referred to in Ephesians 6: 17 as the 'Sword of the Spirit'.

We invite you to join the SSM Internet Family. Let us share the Word of God with one another, let us have fellowship with one another, and let us pray for one another. Let us share our highs and our lows by encouraging one another in the Lord.

Put on the 'whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil' (Eph. 6:11). When the devil and his demons come rushing at you like a raging flood or a searing inferno, swing at him 'the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God' and you will be sure to destroy him!

Our Mission

To spread the undiluted Word of God so as to strengthen the body of Christ. Specifically, we aim: Specifically, we aim:

	To preach and teach the Word of God to the outermost parts of the world.
	To pull down denominational boundaries and bring all together in unity under the Word of God
	To exhort Christians to be faithful to God and to their God-appointed leaders, obeying the scriptures and living holy, righteous and upright lives.
	To spread God's through publications, video, cassette tapes, and over the Internet.
	To work with local and international ministries in a bid to achieve cohesion and unity in the Body of Christ.
	To highlight the plight of the poor, especially destitute children.
	To wage war on the devil over the Internet while at the same time spreading the Good News of salvation using the same channel.
